Jenny D. Williams is a freelance editor and writer specializing in travel, business, and international affairs. She holds a BA in English and Writing from the University of California at Berkeley and has worked in book publishing, international development, and Bollywood (yes, really).
As a developmental editor, Jenny has contributed to several bestselling books, including A Game As Old As Empire (ed. Steve Hiatt) and John Perkins’ Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, which has sold more than half a million copies. Other editorial projects include: Crunch: If the Economy's Doing So Well, Why Do I Feel So Squeezed? (And Other Unsolved Economic Mysteries) by Jared Bernstein (2008); Peace First: A New Model to End War, by Uri Savir (2008); and The Art of Business by Stan Davis and David McIntosh.
Jenny is also an accomplished writer, with publication credits in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. She has been a news writer and editor for Ethical Traveler, a travel columnist for Gradspot, an abstracter for Brijit, and a regular contributor to the Matador Travel network. A selection of her writing appeared in the New York Times bestselling book The Secret History of the American Empire by John Perkins.
